Hello, I'm Sarah.
I do my best to follow closely after Jesus. I am married to a handsome and humble professor who thinks I'm very funny. I am raising two joyful kids who are the little loves of my life.
I am about coffee, thrifty deals, new experiences, travel, and NPR.
When I was a little kindergartner and struggling to learn to read, I told my grandfather, "I am the dumbest kid in the class." I found out soon after that I had a high degree of dyslexia. Raising awareness of dyslexia (and its little known advantages!) became the platform I promoted through my time in pageantry.
I learned to recognize my own story, how to share it, and that it can even be a blessing to others. And, it was a thrill to wear a silver Swarovski gown of a lifetime all while learning these valuable life lessons!
In 2005, I was blessed to become the very first Miss International and ever since have enjoyed helping other women evolve themselves through the many learning opportunities available through pageantry.
My cup ran and continues to runneth way over.
